Xbox one and their army of dedicated servers is actually a big deal for me.
not sure if its $100s worth of "big deal" to justify the purchase but playing games with crappy servers blows.
I would only be using my console to play the freshest shooters with my bros. PC for everything else.
as much as i dislike ea i know ill buy BF4 just because.
500 is a lot of fricking coin around the holidays though.

Obviously you don't like JRPGS, if you won't mention FF 15 or KH3. And obviously you don't like Indy games. Were you just looking for FPS's?
There other big exclusives were revealed before hand.

It's basically saying that they will allow you to play used games without charging a fee. Plus, you can let a friend borrow your game without them having been on your PSN friends lists for at least 30 days and charging them a fee as well.

Then how were you not interested in new trailers for existing exclusives with Killzone, Infamous Second Son, Knack, and Drive Club? All four games look good.
They announced The Order 1886 which is being made by two of the best developers in the industry and will certainly be very good.
Then they showed a bunch of indie games, re-affirming how much they're supporting indie developers.
Showed trailers for Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3. These announcements were bombshells. People care a lot about RPGs. They showed sequels to two of the most popular ones.
Now they got into multiplatform stuff. Assasin's Creed 4's demo was buggy, but still looked like it will be good when the game is actually finished. The gameplay they showed on stage of Watch Dogs was great. Then they announced a new game in Mad Max.
They ended the conference with the DRM notes, online stuff, PS+ (free PS4 games at launch!), showed a lot of gameplay of Destiny (Halo+Borderlands), and then showed the price.
Someone who likes basically every type of game out there had to have found something they were interested in, because developing different types of games and genres has always been Sony's MO.

Not a fan. Neither of them appeal to me in the least bit.

Why is this always the assumption about Xbox gamers. No I enjoy FPS, but that is not my favorite type of game. I love a nice immersive RPG with a good storyline and can't wait to see how these MMO's work out on the next generation.
I am going to buy a PS4 eventually, but they didn't do anything last night to convince me to buy it before the Xbox One. The Xbox One has much better exclusive titles coming out IMO. Now once I hear about some of these other exclusive titles for the PS4 I may change my opinion.

Sorry I don't like those style of RPG's. They are weird to me and not all that enjoyable.
You do realize I am allowed to have a different opinion than you right?

Xbox WILL charge and will make it difficult to loan a game out. They haven't been super forthcoming as to why they are doing it, so a lot of people are pretty pissed.

Well, I don't think FF13 sucked, but I have great reason to believe that 15 will be better. 15 is rebranded from Versus XIII. It was announced in 2005 for the PS3 alongside FF13.
It got delayed and put on hold so that Square could finish 13 and 14.
That said, the game itself is very different than most FFs. It's an action RPG, rather than a turn based one. A lot of themes and story elements are going to be more mature and serious. This is the game that most Final Fantasy fans have been waiting for (because 13 disappointed a lot of people).

What do you mean? That is who Microsoft caters too. Nothing wrong with it, that is there niche.
