Glad you are coming around.

It is one of my top 5 favorite games of all time.

I didn't realize the first time around how tactical it is. I expected it to be a bitter simpler like kotor was.

I suggest getting a mage in your party and making her a healer

Yeah the tactics are cool

My character is a mage actually. I'm hesitant to spend much time on skills and equipment for other members of my party. Are people like 'tower guard' going to be with me long enough to spend the time?

You can set the other characters to auto-level their skills. It makes it a little easier to manage.

And the people that stay with you all have names. They aren't "tower guard".

Make sure to do all of their side missions. You unlock specialty items for each of them if they fully like you. Talk them at the campfire and find out what items they like and give them the treasures you find.

Certain one likes art. Another likes magic tomes. Another like jewelry.

If you want to look it up, you can find the specifics online to make it easier.

Good to see they brought this back from DA:O but it was a bitch to figure out who wanted what in DA:O.

I was talking about Origins, but they've said they are bringing it back? That's awesome if so. It made the companion relationships better.

I actually think they base most of the relationship stuff on interactions and actions instead of people liking you for giving them stuff

Well that's not very realistic. Ask a woman if she wants to talk or have a diamond and let me know what she says.

bullshite. They mirrored real life. People only like you when you give them stuff.

You still gonna want a healer mage if you are an elemental or blood mage. IMO

Da:o had Alistair the punk bitch, right? Make him a tank

I know I can heal with mine. I only played for about 30 minutes earlier so I had to relearn what was going on. I won't get to play again until next week.

Probably not a bad idea. Rental wife is probably cheaper.

Its the journey, not the destination.

You talking about the Mage Tower quest?

I think. I stopped halfway through the mission months ago and picked it back up last night so I can't remember all the details but Carson just said it right.
