Can anyone tell me how to play as a hammerdin or do I just stock a bunch of Mana pots and spam blessed hammer? I keep getting rocked by groups of fetish in act 3 normal. I've got 8 in blessed aim, 3 in vigor, 2 in concentrate and 4 in blessed hammer. 45/25/100/19 S/D/V/E. I usually roll blessed aim as my aura.

Yes you will have to stock up on mana potions until your gear gives you enough mana. Act 3 dolls are hard for a hammerdin because they are so fast it’s hard to cast the hammer before they are right up on you.

Pump mana pots. It's amazing how nightmare mode is somewhat easier at times due to your gear improvement

Kinda feel the same. Running Hell with a Hammerdin, and I feel my gear is insufficient. 2-3 shots and I'm damn near dead. Been doing nightmare runs looking for more gear/charms with resistances since finding high runes for the right stuff is pretty much impossible on nightmare.

Found a shako last night and some magefists. Insight on the merc is absolutely game changing

I’ve been farming for a shako for the past month with no luck. I’ve found some pretty good items, but the shako rng has sucked for me

Insight definitely is. Also run prayer merc since I'm not the greatest at spamming health potions when I'm getting hit. Going to try to running Hell again to go for the runes for Fortitude for the merc and HOTO. That HOTO resistance boost is game changer

I've been using Holy Freeze. I like the slowdown so I can get away if I need to since I'm a glass cannon.
I basically just have health and rejuv potions in my belt as I do not run out of mana. My +skills added a bunch to warmth and then I have the Insight. I recover in like 2 seconds if I'm spamming that hard.
