I set the space bar as the move button. I move wherever the mouse is pointed.
This makes it very easy to shift and cast powers without moving.

If you can't get online, you can't play. Big gripe about how they are doing this game.

Me too, I liked being able to just focus on two or three things and be able to master them.
I also miss being able to cast a variety of different spells, like with my WD, I would like to be able to cast unbreakable grasp, then fire bats along with my frog plague or corpse spiders, but I can only pick unbreakable grasp OR fire bats.

you know you can use any skill in any slot if you unlock it in your gameplay options right?

No. If you can't connect to Battle.net servers you cannot play. It's an Anti-Piracy measure.

Finally able to play again, my ISP picked a great time for the internet to be down for almost a whole day.

maybe thats why, i just haven unlocked the other hotkey slots i guess
I logged in today and found my WD was back to 0 exp on lvl 12 when he should've been about to level up
Guessing it had something to do with the server fix yesterday.

I am perfectly fine with Blizzard being more aggressive about stopping duping/botting. Those things absolutely destroyed the market value of items in Diablo 2. High runes were supposed to be incredibly rare and those lucky enough to find or trade for the proper runes to make something such as an Enigma or BOTD were supposed to be few and far between. Even things such as an occulus were not intended on being commonplace, yet every one and their mother had at least a couple characters with an enigma, hoto, hoz, ber-ed shako, etc.
I want to go back to being excited when I found a unique item, and it staying like that.
