If you're in need of Shards to upgrade your armor, you can get one guaranteed shard for the first public event you do each day (if get gold status).
Here is a website that provides a public events timer which shows where the event will occur and exactly what the event is.

I'm sure this has been asked and and it is a broad statement, but what is the best way to farm for higher level armor with more light.
I am a level 20 and kinda just stuck there just waiting for drops. Its taking a while.

I really started looking into the 3 factions and actually started paying attention to the bounties and rewards. I think my one initial problem was not really utilizing bounties earlier on because I feel like that is the key to getting some nice gear outside of just waiting for drops.
I still just don't know the best route.

Ideally would start sometime around 6pm CST but it would really be based upon when everyone could get together and have open time.

Someone found a random bug in the game that wouldn't allow that person to go to the tower and instead, it showed all of the expansion content of which some are stating is already on the Disk... Is that normal?

ETA: By the way, the servers went down again last night because of Lizard Squad DDoS attacked the servers again. It seems like it also continued this morning as well because before I left for work I picked up the Queens bounty to kill the guy you get the warp drive from on Earth (which is super easy and takes all of 5-10 minutes) and got to the guy and then "lost connection to the server".

Unfortunately for me I'm unavailable until around 9pm nightly, I can run from 9pm till 1am at the very latest, but I can do that every night.

Ride around on a patrol mission and look up the times for the public events. Each one rewards marks and you get do 4-5 an hour if you time it right.
