Soloing the second and third missions on lvl 30 was pretty rough. I'm not even sure how I beat the second one. The third one was a little easier as there is a pole you can hide behind to avoid the crystal shooting at you while you take out the adds and your back is protected.

Smaller enemies that spawn during a boss fight. They get added into the fray.

Adds are the trash mobs that get "added" or spawned during a boss encounter or longer fight. Never play any MMMORPGs?

Ran the VoG twice with randoms starting at like 3 this morning with my two characters. Only thing I got for my hunter was a chest piece and with my warlock some boots. What made it even worse is during the first run, I watched two guys get a hard light and suros regime from the same chest. 
The good news at least is I now have the armor to get to 30.

I may be down depending on when we start.
I want to do the Weekly and Nightfall tonight on my main titan and do the story shite to unlock the Weekly and Nightfall on my other titan. May do the story on my other titan another day.
Regardless, I want to knock out the Weekly/Nightfall prior to entering Crota's end... that sounded dirty.

I'll run the nightfall with you. Saurus, jthib, and myself just did the weekly. shite was pretty tough.
ETA: Anyone know if they patched the glitch in to the front door of VoG? The raid I ran early this morning was from the templar checkpoint, so I just tried three times to get in and get that first chest I missed and it wouldn't work. It looks like the vex are already spawned when you get there, rather than a couple seconds later.

Crota's end is tough.
We got to Crota pretty fast, wasn't to bad.
The last boss fight with Crota himself...I think is almost impossible.
Good news is I got some raid gauntlets and alot of radiant shards

Yeah that weekly on 30 took a good awhile. It's almost impossible to get a direct shot on the boss and you constantly get wrecked by Knights and grunts. But I love that you get 30 Vanguard marks now. Will make getting some new 33 gear less painful.
I still have yet to finish VOG all the way through. I guess I'll get on with a crew eventually. I'm hoping more people will be available earlier in the day over the holidays.

Getting on in about 10 minutes. Anyone need to run the nightfall?
ETA: Ran it with totes and unknown...got an exotic warlock helmet, with my hunter. So much for improved RNG.

So first time checking in and just wanted to say that I am eager to get some raiding done. Just picked up the DLC as well and got the Alpha Lupi chest piece about an hour in
