But have fun paying $170 for the full game
I think I paid $120 for all Destiny content, and that was without the season pass. And I played the game for 2.5 years. I think I got my money's worth.

I have way too many hours played on Destiny.
Easily got my money's worth and then some. I'm sure my Destiny 2 experience will be similar.
One thing I found to be really interesting is that these old leaked images were all legit.

I read some leaks that said Trails of Osiris won't be returning in Destiny 2. Instead, it will be called Trials of the Nine, and it will also be 4v4. Don't known how true this is and it could change from now to release.

Following the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal, attendees were able to preview the first level of the game as well as grab first looks at all the skills for each new subclass. As announced during the live stream, these subclasses feature all new Supers and skills. What's more, the existing subclasses received heavy changes coming into Destiny 2.
For the Hunter Gunslinger subclass, the Super Ability, jump modifiers, grenades, Gunslinger's Trance, and Knife-Juggler modifier all remain the same in Destiny 2. That said there are new skill changes, such as Six-Shooter and the Marksman's Dodge, that refresh the class and provide more ways to specialize your character.
Here are all the Hunter Gunslinger skills:
Super Ability
Golden Gun: Summon a flaming pistol that disintegrates enemies with Solar Light.
Super Ability Modifiers
Chains Of Woe: Precision kills increase weapon reload speed for you and nearby allies.
Bombs For Bullseyes: Precision hits generate Grenade energy.
Six-Shooter: Golden Gun can be fired quickly up to 6 times but has a shorter duration.
Explosive Knife: Throw a knife at enemies that explodes shortly after impact when Melee energy is full.
Subclass Ability
Crowd-Pleaser: Precision hits with Golden Gun generate Orbs of Light for your allies.
Line 'Em Up: Precision hits with Golden Gun increase its damage and extend its duration.
Knife-Juggler: Throw a knife at enemies when melee energy is full. A Precision kill with this ability immediately recharges it.
Gunslinger's Trance: Enter a trance with each Precision kill, reducing the cooldown of your Golden Gun.
Jump Modifiers
Strafe Jump: Upgrades Double Jump with better directional control while in the air.
Triple Jump: Upgrades a Double Jump with a third jump.
High Jump: Upgrades Double Jump with even greater height.
Class Abilities
Gambler's Dodge: Dodging near enemies generates Melee energy.
Marksman's Dodge: Automatically reload your equipped weapon when Dodging.
Grenades
Incendiary Grenade: An explosive grenade that catches enemies on fire, causing additional damage over time.
Swarm Grenade: A grenade that detonates on impact, releasing multiple drones that seek nearby enemies.
Tripmine Grenade: An explosive grenade that sticks to surfaces and detonates when enemies pass through its laser trigger.
Bear in mind that these Hunter Gunslinger subclass skills were available during an early playtest of Destiny 2 and are subject to change before launch.

Jump Modifiers

Glide jump ability provides bonuses to both speed and control.

Looks like it'll be similar to D1, where PvP was like the Wild West at first and then gradually tamed out
