What they mean is that they adjusted the timing and motion of player animations but also adjusted enemy behavior to account for the new player timing.

HP is also more like DeS - your HP bar will diminish each time you die, down to half and requires a consumable that can become scarce to replenish it.
It's a much longer game though, and Drangleic > Lordran. There's much to do, more bosses than DS and covenants are much more fleshed out and useful.

Game is hard enough without something like that. That's a bit ridiculous. My excitement for this game just decreased. I can see myself quitting pretty early.

Totally just beat the titanite demon by the blacksmith with about 100 crossbow bolts..
Died about 8 times trying to melee and said frick it.
