It's tough to replace the Uchi. My alternates are a fire pike, grave warden twin swords, or the sword and dagger you get from the abyss watchers. Though I haven't played with that very much yet.
The grave warden twin swords have a bad arse move set. I'm about to infuse them with a bleed stonr and use it a lot more. Reach isn't great, but they are crazy fast and reach 360 degrees.

I have the sellsword twinblades infused w fire. They were decent until i got the Uchi. I really want to get a lightning gem.

Lightning Gems are pretty rare. It is really annoying since Lightning damage is a really useful attribute to have for parts of the game, but really hard to come by for non-faith builds.

I need to find where to get Large Titante at. I got the one trading w the crow and another somewhere else, that was IT. I need more to get to +5

Best place imo is Anor Londo, it's a relatively common drop from silver knights.
I'm currently running a Heavy Dark Sword +10 and a Black Knight Great Axe +5, both with my strength at 50... Both are really great weapons (dark sword is bound to get nerfed at some point, it's DPS is insanely high)

Yeah it's pretty OP, honestly I prefer my BKGA for PVP though, the Dark Sword wrecks just about everything in PVE though.
Speaking of PVP, got invaded by a little bitch today that would run and hide in the middle of a group of enemies and heal every time I did any damage to him today. He eventually got the drop on me as I was trying to wipe out all the shite around him

I will also throw in Smouldering Lake running and killing the beast creatures on the way from the third bonfire to the giant crossbow

I've been using a Heavy +3 Darksword and it works great. Recently started using Pyromancy and the spell that applies fire to your weapon. Hasn't failed me yet.

wait till you get to irithyll. every corner you turn has a large titanite laying there. you'll have it coming out the arse by the time you reach the first bonfire (where i stopped last night)

Beat that frost Knight last night. Really digging his sword. Pretty quick and does okay damage. Pain in the arse the level of up, but it's pretty fun.

Has anyone tried the Hollowslayer Greatsword? Seems pretty sweet. Like a Claymore better suited for dex builds. Might give it a go.

Finished my first play through last night, finally. I was a little disappointed with the final boss. He's tough but I wanted a little more.
The "top" optional boss should have been the final boss, he's insanely fricking hard.
I played a Dex build w/ Uchi but my character is kinda annoyingly un-optimized because I started as a sorcerer. I know I can re-spec but so many of those levels are wasted on the default. I also messed up a lot of quests, and also got rid of some weapons and stuff I wish I kept so I'm probably going to play a couple more optimal characters soon, and try some new builds.
I highly recommend if you're a dex character that you try the Estoc or Rapier (or Ricard's Rapier if you want, there's something about it...). The moveset is hard to adjust your play style to but it's absolutely dominant.
