I think I'm gonna run controller on PC. Seen some videos of the aim assist and it's fricking unbelievable. Worse than halo infinite

that plus the difference in bandwidth cap differences between PC and console should give you quite the advantage

It’s still CoD at its core. If you run n gun and have snappy gunplay, you’ll still clean up more than get shite on. SBMM means you’ll have some more frustrating matches especially if you’re just not having a good night.

Is this game worth purchasing, or should I wait until it's free on GamePass? I am not reading through this thread. I have watched a bunch of the single player video's. It looks fun. But is it?

Absolutely not unless you have really bad taste in games or no other options. Wait for game pass so you don't spend $70 on a $20 game.

For those that have been having freezing/crashing issues, I want to test something. Run the benchmark and see what the Ram results are. Every time i've run it, it says my Ram usage is really high, like 22 GB, yet MW2 is only like 3-4GB of that. When I have my task manager running, the numbers are completely different and are in line with what I would think (around like 8GB total use), seeing as I have hardly anything else running other than the game. I'm curious if that is some type of bug or something that is going on. Just very very odd.

The game. All you can do is wait for a fix. The good news is they're pretty easy to find and quick to fix.

That very well may be it then. I have 32GB of RAM, so total RAM should never be an issue. What is weird is that the FPS do not drop. Everything is fine until game freezes. Who knows.

The core mechanics of the game are actually good. It's just everything else that makes it a miserable experience.
I've never seen so many poor/stupid design decisions in one game.
SBMM is so revved up if you can hang in the supersweat lobbies they just nerf your bullets. YOU WILL BE PUNISHED FOR DOING WELL.
This game was designed by a bunch of woke safe space hiding fricking counts. Seeing deaths on the scoreboard is a "micro-aggression" LOL.

The mystery continues. Did a full re-install of the game, ran the RAMMap program and cleared all my cached memory. Reran the benchmark abs played a bit of a game with task manager going. Stays pretty consistent around 9gb there. Yet, you can see the benchmark RAM stats. Makes no damn sense.

If I put all of my dog's shite into a box that was labeled "COD ULTIMATE EDITION", you would pay top dollar for it. LOL. That's pretty close to what Activison has done.

I’m not sorry I’m enjoying the game in spite of the fixable hiccups. And to be clear, I bought the regular edition. quote:
