I'm a sick old man (turn 60 in June) and have slowed down so much I can't play any kind of competitive multiplayer anymore (almost all co-op too for the sake of the others) and am right with ya on not paying for full game just for single player portions.
I've got well over 300 games in my library, about 4TB of drives of just games installed though so if something fails to be on steep discount I probably already some version of it or very similar. Retired medically so I got between now and death to wait for a sale.

For me Black ops 1 was the peak. The other black ops I know are liked, but i just never could get into them.

I want some more CODs with Spec Ops like they used to have in the Modern War series. I's love for Microsoft to put all of the CODs on gamepass so I could replay some of those missions.

so Black Ops 2 went on sale today for $20 for PC/Steam. instant purchase for me.

Cold War was dogshit and the only good thing about Black Ops 4 was Blackout. 3 was fun but 2 and 1 are GOATed. Treyarch is suppose to be the better developer but I haven’t enjoyed them in awhile unless it’s zombies.

About as fun as root canal. Seriously, Im easily amused by CoD campaigns...even got some enjoyment out of MW3 (2023) since playing it on GP. Black Ops 3 was painful.
