Stumbled into shadow of yarnum fight in forgotten woods, had tons of echoes. Beat those bitches first try, which gave me enough echoes to lvl up my strength to thirty and use that cannon you were just talking about. Looks intimidating, immediate atl got it to +6

Update on cannon, good news and bad news. Good news, it wrecks show, used it on huge guys outside cathedral ward and nearly on shotted them. Bad news, it costs ten quicksilver bullets per shot. Might be useful to carry with blunderbuss in case I get in a boss fight, but for regular use not great.

Gotta use the blood bullets to get 4 shots off per full run.

It should do 50% of most boss' life.

Up on the d pad gives you +5 bullets. They are called blood bullets bc it takes 30% of your health in exchange.

I hate when I push that on accident though, especially during a boss fight

I did it all the time early on. If I passed up an item while I was scrolling with down, my reaction would be to press up to scroll back instead of cycling back through. It was annoying.

ETA: What's the benefit of these chalice dungeons? Doing my first one and I'm not getting shite in terms of blood echoes and I'm just wasting resources on bosses.

I beat my second one and was able to buy a new set of armor that's really good. I'm probably going to sprinkle more and more of those in to see what else they'll unlock.

Running through my first dungeon. Have to say this first dungeon puts the "ease" in procedurally generated dungeon.
How many levels are there to these things?

So how did everyone go about killing the big electric skeleton dog ??

He seems pretty tough but his attacks aren't too bad.

Killed him this morning, took two tries not too bad. To be honest, I haven't had that much trouble with these bosses, i trink because of my play style. I have way more trouble just getting through the levels without dying a million times
