I don't think I ever found Eileen the crow chick, and now that I'm looking for her, can't find her anywhere. Checked all four places. Read that if you don't do the first parts she should still be at the cathedral waiting to attack you but isn't there either.

I went 2 handed for the long range. I used the well in the middle as a shield and when he struck at me I would run out and charge him. It was slow but effective.

I made a skill build specifically for the blade of mercy and burial blade. I got the bom up to +9 and it wrecks face.

I was doing something similar by using the well as a shield. I got too impatient and bolted.
