loving this game, im so addicted i actually set up remote play on my router so I can play it on my vita at work... I gave my 2 weeks yesterday and I played 2 hours at work today

Make sure you actually purchase the bell that allows you to join other worlds. It's the left door of the house in the Hunter's Dream. Didn't realize it existed for a while.

They are up the ladder, don't go up the stairs, go up the ladder and the corpse has 6 mists on him

It works great, except for L2 and R2 attacks are mapped on the lower left and right touch screen, making it impossible to attack WHILE moving pretty much.
They have the left shoulder mapped to L1 which is just for transforming weapons, it annoys me that I have to tap the lower touchscreen to L2 attack rather than the left shoulder..
But once you get passed that muscle memory it's pretty damn good. I actually beat father gas on the vita, and not the ps4, and I was shocked.

Now that they have button mapping for ps4 I hope they bring it to vita. Games that need r2/l2 always have issues. The backpad just doesn't get it done.

Is there a quick way to get past the bonfire with all the enemies early on? I've been picking them off a couple at a time.

agreed, luckily the only thing used in BB on the backpad is targetting, it's not bad for that.

Dont approach them directly, when you see that ambush guy with the gun, after u kill him go up the stairs to the right next to him, watch out for some ambushes. some of the bonfire mob will run up the stairs behind you once you get past the first ambush guy that jumps out at you. Once you get past them you can go all the way down past the bonfire and drop down behind them all and come from behind and take them out that way, it's much easier.
