I agree but have to see see once more details come out. I like the open maps they have now...to shrink the maps down just doesn't sound appealing to me.

I did a google search and couldn't find anything that wasn't last year, but wasn't there news about a battlerecorder coming soon? Remember reading that somewhere on this board.

Just read a preview on IGN. The overall feeling of Ziba Tower is positive, with cautious optimism.
There is a lot of Call of Duty coachspeak in the preview, but all the previewers make sure to point out that the Battlefieldness of the gameplay is preserved.
It's just that there are no vehicles, no aircraft and player counts are limited to 16 on consoles. This just appears to be TDM only, but we'll see.

Guess that's a good thing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If it does get released as TDM, only, I may wait to get some feedback from people here to see if it is worth getting.

I've been playing a good bit of TDM when no one else is on and it is not terribly different than MW, i may get crucified for blasphemy, but besides the "Battlefieldness", the maps are very small and it's an ADHD party for sure with tubes frag ammo galore.

I play it as well when no one is on, but like you said, it is like like MW. I just prefer Rush and the sional Conquest games

I know I'm getting it regardless, but I don't usually play TDM at all even when I'm solo.
The spawns weren't very friendly and by now everyone has to be spamming with frag ammo, M320's and rockets.

The TDM versions of the maps are still so much larger in scale than MW3.
Squad Deathmatch is actually a fun playlist. Maps are bigger and you actually get vehicles. All ground, I believe, but don't hold me to that.

I get owned by it a good bit...
And I was flying last night, circling flags in a Venom so my gunners could shoot. I even got a hover neutralize. I bit the dust a few times, but I'm getting better. Learning to fly sucks because I feel like I ain't helping.

Ill hop in a jet or heli any chance i get when im with randoms. frick those guys i need to get unlocks and learn to fly. Im pretty good in the jet. I suck flying helis.

I thought I read somewhere that with the DLC comes a new game type/mode... with the size of the maps and the limited number of players, i am sure TDM will be available on these maps but i just wonder what the new game type will be

Opposite for me. I'm starting to get a good feel for the choppers, but still, for the most part, straight line it in the jets. Got some practice time in an empty server last night, and was able to land a heli on a few high rises and fly under some low bridges. All without people shooting at me, of course, but still felt
