It adjusts the impact of the round to the center of the crosshairs. So a round fired out of a rifle zeroed at 300meters will impact dead center at 300 meters, instead of having to aim higher over the head of your target.

For example, if your target is at 300 meters, and you don't zero your rifle for 300 meters, you can aim at his head, but you will hit him in the waist due to bullet drop. If you zero it for 300 meters and aim at his head, you will hit him in the head.

Splash damage on tanks.

a .308 doesnt have 12 inches of bullet drop at 200 meters, a .338 doesnt have 12 inches of bullet drop at 800 meters, much less 200. They exaggerated the shite out of bullet drop.

But tanks shoot helis amd frogfoots out the air.

Ammo pack really should have a limited number of explosives so teams cant spam nades/rockets.
