Got a little Bioshock vibe too. I'm all in.

Anyone that says they enjoyed it is in denial
Procedurally generated is just a tool that can be used correctly, as in Minecraft, Spelunky, Dead Cells, Starbound, and others, but the player still needs a worthwhile goal to work towards. NMS didn't offer that on release.
Back on topic, I wonder if The Outer World's is at risk for being overshadowed by Cyberpunk 2077, depending on how closely they release. It seems like their tone and atmosphere is pretty different, but I could see an overlap between the audiences for both. Personally, I'm more interested in this.

I’m not saying it did. It should’ve taken that route if it wanted to survive though. At least make an effort at fleshing out a world. Procedurally generated shite is an epic fail. What a POS game Anyone that says they enjoyed it is in denial

It's known I'm a big bethesda fan, but I really want Howard to come out and simply say "we fricked up......nothing else to say", and put the entire studio on TES6.
Now I'm curious what their space game is going to look like.

Watching the gameplay, so ready for this game.
I'm sure it's just the weapon they chose for this demo, but I'm hoping there is more than just energy weapons. I never use those in Fallout games.

I think this will finally pry a lot of people away from Fallout 4

This looks very promising.
Way to capitalize on Bethesda’s frickups, Obsidian! Maybe Bethesda will wake the hell up and actually start producing quality content now that they’re getting obsidians nuts dragged across their faces.
