That 8350 handles itself much better than the 8150.. But don't push much to it, then it gets flakey. AM3+ OCs a little different than 1155 from intel. I find as I OC mine I need to OC te north bridge as well, if not they don't stay stable.. For me, but I also have them in some cheap boards. You have a pretty good asrock.

Your multiplier probably starts at 20 because AMD multiples by 200mhz by default. I would keep the 200mhz default and then raise the multiplier to 22.5, that should get you at 4.5. Every time you increase the multiplier by 1 whole number increase the north bridge by .5

Your safe max I probably at 23.5 so you might want to try 21.5 to start with, that is 4.3ghz.

Srry for garbage grammar, on my phone.

What's your setup and settings? Do all games give you trouble or certain ones?

I will, I plan on finishing my build by Sunday and taking lots of pictures like it is a playboy shoot. Epeen is fully engaged.

What about screen tearing? It sucks it litarly makes me sick with a terrible headache. I will down clock if a game is giving me terrible tearing.

Certain games. Tomb raider played great on ultra settings. Crysis 1 was tearing when I lowered my AA from x8 to x2. I wanted better FPS and that took me from 30's to 50's. problem is it started tearing a lot but the frames never pushed 60. I had this problem on assassins creed brotherhood on my laptop. My frames were in the 30's and it was tearing so I had to enable vsync to stop it. I don't want to have to do that unless I have to though.

I'm using sapphire 7870 ghz edition. Tomb raider had great graphics. Tressfx was kind of cool but not worth the performance hit so I turned it off. It hit my FPS hard and reading up that was common for a lot of people.

Oh she looks good with it

Googling it tearing seems to be a common problem with crysis. I'll prob just use vsync and try to enable Triple buffering, that should help the frame hut vsync has right?

Cyrsis 3 didn't tear for me.. NVidia SLi has really improved in that department but their surround support still doesn't compare to amd.
