Interesting Moment in the Video:
the Splatoon group playing on the floor....
Does that mean that they can bluetooth(or something else) together and play? Just be on the wifi and play together??
Was that TRULY Local MP which has been rare for systems over the last few years. That would be fantastic honestly.

The rumors a long time ago were to expect 900p games. For a mobile/console hybrid I think that is perfectly fine.

Agreed, hence the wifi comment. Maybe it's just connecting on wifi. That's fine really, and the standard.

If it's a Tegra X1 chip, or some modification thereof, then it's more than capable of displaying 1080p60 content.
I imagine the screen has a 720p resolution (possibly lower), but when plugged in to the main station, the GPU and CPU cores are upclocked to allow for games to be played at higher resolutions and framerates.

I like graphics as much as the next guy but if it does all it is showing and is only 900p, I'll be fine.

I cannot stand upscaling. Some games handle it better than others, but they all look like you're playing on a TV that the game was not meant to be played on.
I would so much rather devs make visual sacrifices in other areas as opposed to the fuzzy mess that is 720 and 900p.

I hate consoles and this makes me tempted, could be a massive homerun if they got people like me considering it.

Here are some of my thoughts and questions...
Will these be able to be a stand alone tablet like an iPad or Nvidia shield? It would be a major deal breaker if it's not
They need to make this the same price with a bundle as the Xbox One S or cheaper as a stand alone console.
The tablet display really needs to be 1080p or higher. The games don't need to run at those resolutions, but the display needs to be at least 1080p. All of this takes in to account that the tablet itself can functions like an iPad or Android tablet.
Bluetooth controller compatibility would make this insanely awesome. I doubt thats there but as long as they have a more normalized controller for just the tablet, that's fine.
I haven't owned a Nintendo device since the GameCube, but this has me very intrigued especially the tablet functionality. Nintendo could really hit a home run with this device if it's at the right price point.

I just got a little hard thinking about playing rocket league or IDARB like this. Probably won't happen though
