Super Mario Odyssey may be the happiest I have been playing a game. I can't really explain the feeling any differently than that. It's not the best game ever. It's not my favorite game ever. It's just fun and makes you smile the entire time. I remember playing it one time when my wife walked in. She sat next to me for half an hour and just kept commenting on how adorable the game was.

It's probably my favorite Mario game out of the whole series, but that could be recency bias from the past 8 years. I wasn't ever a big Mario 64 fan, but if you ever held that one up as a GOAT contender, then Odyssey will scratch that itch.

Yes, that is where you collect it. Then you have to run around to each spot quickly before the time (20 min) runs out. Also just for fun they do not show you a timer lol
I don't believe you can complete this side quest until almost near end game. You need a certain item to reach certain areas.

Fantasy Life is a LOT of fun - always something to do in the game, and easy to pick up and play for 30 min at a time if you have a small window.

That one was mainly for the fiance. She likes 2D side-scrolling and I'm more into the 3D Open World at this point.

I think we have DK on GameLock thru GameFly. If I like it, I'll go back and get the digital download later.
Just saw where the NSO vouchers are going away in 2026. There's no immediate plan to extend them to Switch 2 games, which is dumb. Just raise the price to $120 to keep the value intact, and extend the OG Switch games to 3 at that price.

Yep. Pretty fun game so far. Like others mentioned, it feels like DK'S Mario Odyssey.
