The system comes packaged with an HDMI cable, an AC adapter and one NES Classic Controller, which is patterned after the iconic design of the original NES controller. But you really just want to know the full list of 30 games, right? Feast your eyes on the fantastic collection of NES classics included with each and every system:

quote:

There’s a little something for everyone: a nice mix of timeless favorites, cult classics and maybe even some games that you never got around to playing. Each is sure to bring back memories and produce plenty of new ones. You can even enjoy playing several of these games with two players by attaching a second NES Classic Controller, which will be sold separately at a suggested retail price of $9.99. A Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro can also be used (each sold separately). When connected to a Wii Remote controller, the NES Classic Controller can also be used to play Virtual Console NES games on a Wii U or Wii system. Playing these retro games using a retro controller makes the experience that much more authentic. And if you ever need to step away from the NES Classic Edition in the middle of a tough level (or take a break to call one of Nintendo’s helpful Game Counselors*), don’t worry about losing any hard-earned progress. Each game has multiple suspend points, so you can start where you left off at a later time, no passwords needed.

At the least I will get the classic controller. I don't know how they haven't sold that for Wii U already. It must be plugged into a wii remote which sucks.

I love playing my original NES.

Wonder if the original controllers from the 80's will work with these.

No.. Unless they have some sort of adapter. The female ends of the plug look to be the same type of port on the bottom of a wii remote

I was going to say that all of these type things pre-loaded with games usually suck but they picked a pretty nice roster of 30 games for this one.

I bought the sega system like this and my kids love it. I still have my orginal NES along with 40+ games. Hopefully the old games can play on this system along with the built in ones. I will definitely be buying this. Got my NES when they first came out and Kung Fu was my first game.

i dont see that happening. The system is barely bigger than the original cartridges.

You would be correct in that assumption.

a "new" version of its legendary NES hardware which will cost $59.99 in the US.

quote:

Sadly you can't use your original NES carts with the console - something even the most basic "Famiclone" offers - and there doesn't seem to be any means of getting new games onto it.

There seems to be debate depending on which article you read if this comes with an ac adapter or not that would be such a Nintendo move
