I am not a big gamer but I do play sports games. I have a old XBOX and decided I was going to get a new system when the new NCAA football is released. What as the pluses and minuses of each and why is that you cannot find either anywhere?

Depends on which console has the exclusives you prefer to play. XSX seems to be easier to find vs PlayStation. All a matter of personal preference. As far as pros and cons, tons of websites detailing each.

I have both and there's not much difference between them, imo. Xbox has game pass which I think is probably better than Sonys game pass equivalent, but Sony has better exclusives to me though.

Are you an anime weeb or someone into Skyrim-like games?

Are you a bitch? Get an Xbox.

Are you a man? Get a PS5.

It’s that simple.

You seem pretty casual and since sports is your focus most big sport titles would hit either

Ps5 is much harder to get your hands on. Xbox shouldn’t be too too hard now.

Xbox has game pass which is a service for fee that’s priced pretty fairly. It will give you access to a large list of games.

To me Xbox sounds like a better choice for you. I don’t think you’ll necessarily go wrong with either.

Series S, easy to find, also a massive piece of shite. Worst idea Microsoft has had since the zune.

Xbox has a slight edge with having an agreement with EA Sports. Also MLB The Show coming to Xbox was a big deal.

Casuals play Xbox so I would go that route.

Get XBox and Game Pass. Anyone telling you otherwise is simply mad that Playstation hasn't figured it out yet.

You'll be happy with either. I would go with XBOX though because Game Pass will let you save money if you decide to branch past a few sports games. Sony's equivalent will probably never catch up.

New game system..XBOX vs Playstation

Both are wonderful

Neither has any significant edge

Some notes:

--Gamepass>>>>>>PS Plus Premium

--PSVR2 looks like it will be amazing

--See who has the exclusives you want going forward:

---------------PS: GoW, LoU, Destiny, etc
---------------XBOX: Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout 5, Halo, etc

Nope. Get back to me when they're releasing their first party exclusives day and date on their service. Then maybe, just maybe, it'll be comparable.

Get back to us when the first party exclusives aren't dogshit, then maybe we'll care about day and date releases

Xbox exclusives are complete trash. I own one, and have gamepass, the whole thing is pretty meh. PS5 is superior in every way.

I'm really big on some of the studios they just got (Arkane, Tango, idSoft) so I'm sure it'll get better soon. It's really barren right now though. Can't bank on a new BethSoft game every 15 years to carry you

Well that's like... your opinion man.

I own both. I play the Sony exclusives I want on the PS5 and everything else on my XBox. I love Gamepass, and I much rather the XBox controller.
