That missed extra point was the game changer for you. I don't think I have ever seen the CPU miss a xp .
I've missed plenty just flicking the joystick up nonchalantly, assuming it's good, and then watch it drift right.
That's the way those conference and rival games go sometimes. It may take me 3 or 4 game minutes to score on a long drive and they come out and score on two plays. It's the nature of the beast for this game. Sometimes I have issues with the shittiest teams. It's kind of like a message the cpu sends "I know you are overlooking us " type message.

I saw 9's post and after my game, I had to do it, too. Every damn play when your team average is an 81 is crucial. Like I didn't want to throw the ball once in the 4th quarter when I was up because I was terrified it would just automatically be an interception.

The best advice I can give against the CPU, is to play them like a user, until you are able to control the games. I know within the first quarter most of the time, If I can or can't screw around a lil bit.
