Yea, was hoping this week would fly by, but looks like it's lagging.

Did he play his game vs Texas or was it simmed? Losing that badly doesn't seem like him.

He had 6 restarts that week, it wasn't going his way. The game ended up getting simmed, because he never finished the game.

If he doesn't post in here when he can play or email you back today, I will put him on auto pilot.

Awhile back I did some tests to see if height and weight mattered with linemen in the game but I forgot to post my results. I did a multitude of tests using the same two plays and these were the results:

Test 1 & 2: HB dive from shotgun both OL and DL 6'5 300lb - OL wins 8/10 times

Test 3 & 4: HB dive from shotgun OL 6'5, DL 6'5 both 300 lb - OL wins 9/10 times and 10/10 times

Test 5 & 6: 6'5 300lb OL vs 6'5 350lb DL - OL wins 8/10 times and 9/10 times for zone and man blocking scheme

Test 7 & 8: 7'0 250lb OL vs 5'5 350lb DL - DL wins 7/10 times in zone blocking

OL wins 9/10 times in man blocking.

Test 9 & 10: Both 6'0 300lb in zone blocking - DL wins 10/10 times

6'5 OL vs 6'0 DL in zone blocking - OL wins 10/10 times

Test 11 & 12: 6'5 250lb OL vs 6'5 350lb DL - OL wins 6/10 times in zone blocking and DL wins 6/10 times in man blocking

Test 13 & 14: 6'0 250lb OL vs 6'5 350 DL - OL wins 10/10 times in zone blocking and 9/10 times in man blocking.

I can't see any correlation between height and weight based off of my tests. Both lines had all of their blocking, awareness, and physical attributes maxed to 99 and the only difference was in their heights.

I would think height would really only matter on pass plays. Is a 7'0 WR going to catch everything over a 5'5 CB? Or is it much harder to throw past 3 7'0 LBs as opposed to 3 5'5 LBs?

Theoretically a defense filled with giants would be able to cover alot more of the field than a defense filled with tiny guys.

Alrighty

ETA: Iowa State falls to Ole Miss 35-21

I couldn't stop their HUNH attack (oh the irony) and my offensive line got destroyed by their defense.

I can see the difference in recruiting already. More guys are interested in Iowa State and I feel like I can actually snag some big time players.

I got no issues getting into the dynasty.

Clemson gave me hell, but I held on for a winning TD with about 20 seconds to go.

I fear my team may not be good enough to beat Peaster next week. Defense, especially the secondary is pretty meh.

My defense looks solid (not good) on paper but play like crap. I need better DBs and linebackers badly. Offense is abysmal as well when the offensive line is getting bullied. I don't know what kind of offers I'll get at the end of the season but it'll take a while to build Iowa State into a power.
