LSU 17, Cal 14

Great game GP!

LSU kicks a last second field goal. Tigers jumped out 14-0 at the half, and Cal tied it up late in the fourth. Was able to get into FG range and actually convert this time.

GP destroyed my run game, as I netted 59 yds on the ground. I don't remember the last time I had anywhere near that few yards. I won this game because of a couple of ints in the first half that saved my arse.

Great game again man - I feel like we always play down to the wire.

Cal drops a heartbreak on the road 17-14

Tale of 2 halves really. He made 2 great plays in the first half that lead to 2 INTs. He was up 14-0 at half, and receiving the ball when Cal came storming back. Down 14-7, I went for it on 4th and 1 on the LSU 35 yard line. Knowing he would sell out on the run up the gut, I put on my backup QB for a rollout pass and hit my new favorite WR for a 35 yard TD. With 1:30 remaining however, Brandon Harris decided to go beastmode. He got sacked on the very first play of the drive but proceeded to then destroy my defense, including a 14 yard run in which he broke 4 tackles (Wilda can verify). This set his team up for the 17-14 game winning field goal.

Great game Wilda my style of offense just does not match up well against your style of defense. That being said, both Tredavious White and Jamaica Adams interceptions were just great defensive plays. Those are plays I run often against the CPU and with alot of success. Your players just outplayed mine on those specific plays, I didn't think theyou we're bad decisions like the first pick.

All in all, I wish I could have won, but I am really excited about what the future holds for my team. Losing the turnover battle 3-0 and only losing by 3 is pretty good to me. If I could just get more weapons on the outside, my team would be deadly. Not to mention those 2 DE are sophomores and they got alot of pressure without me needing to control them

I don't understand how this run happened. It was just a QB power play designed to get some yds back for a shorter 3rd down. 180 lb Brandon Harris morphed into the bastard love child of Christian Okoye and Jim Brown.
