Yes but this is a video game and everyone is trying to built GOAT teams an win national championships. We can't base our dynasty off of what lsu does irl. If that was the case then we would cut all of our legit qbs and plug our punters in at qb.
I'm just saying... If I have a 90 overall Jr that is trying to go get drafted in the 6th round then I'm not letting him. That dumb and everyone's team will never really progress and will be filled with underclassmen and shitty seniors

We had our offseason in our other dynasty last week. I had about 7 or 8 underclassmen try to go pro on top of the 15+ seniors who had to leave.

Not to blast you Drum, but you have issues winning against the CPU.
I had those same issues and think I may have corrected them, but I won't know when I start playing with a lower rated school again. I may struggle again.
If you let those good players go, you will be doomed.
I just think this needs to be more simple than what we are trying to do here.

I would like to start sometime in the next day or so. We aren't even close at this point.

What if we did like redshirt JRs? Or something like top 3 projected rounds? Or base it on overall rating?
I would rather more parody, and teams with holes than everyone be absolutely stacked every year.

This is true. Plus this conversation isn't something that would need to happen until the end of the year.
So in summary, topics that still need discussion:
-4 or 3 star prestige? I won't cast a vote in this one cause I don't care
-Picking teams/draft order? I vote to let someone just randomly generate a draft order
-Sliders/Rosters? Peaster seems like he knows what he is doing, so I vote to go with whatever he wants on these topics.
I think thats all we need to resolve before beginning the season. I will check my phone periodically throughout the night, but don't expect to hear much more from me tonight as I will be storming the court at the PMAC

I would like new rosters if they're solid. Not flimsy ones just because they feature new players. Maybe go with 2014 rosters? And although I'm not the biggest fan of our current sliders, I don't mind keeping them if it means less hassle.

With the new rosters, I would say 3* minus ranked teams because you have 3* teams (Ole Miss, Miss State, etc.) that are ranked and 3* that are 90+ OVR.

I also don't cheese the CPU with the same play over and over when I find one that works.
And I've yet to stick to a strategy for one season. I think that puts me at a big disadvantage too.

screw stars. Over all teeam rating 87 and lower.
I think drum and 9s should get first 2 picks to reward them for staying at their schools. Then random for everyone else

I have a gig tonight...won't be back till 2amEST...can I select my team from online or just announce my team? Also from 8pmEST on, if I need to be reached can someone try and GroupMe if at all possible?

Ok, question to the group, do you all want to add App State, Georgia Southern, and UNC Charlotte to this dynasty?
Also, how will we do the team draft order not knowing what teams are rated what? I tried to look how to post the roster on here but can't find a way.
