Any of you know anything about this? I notice there are a lot more intelligent folks here than at GameStop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The controller won’t communicate with the console, the power light comes on briefly, but nothing on screen, and the controller light blinks during this.

Disconnect the power cable from the back of the unit for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. That's the first step before trying anything else.

I have a PS5, 4, 3, 2, & 1. Just wanted to see if I could get this going as I like game pass.

The "brick" part of the power cord is likely fried. I've had this problem twice with mine, and an aftermarket power cord from amazon fixed it right up.

My S did the exact same thing. Tried all the troubleshooting methods and none worked. I put in a service ticket on the Microsoft website and they emailed me a shipping label. I shipped it and they fixed it. Took about 2 weeks but it came back good as new(there are faster shipping options if you need it back faster). It was under warranty also so I didn't have any issues
