Most money you’ve dropped on “loot boxes”?

For me, it has to have been on the marvel fighting game (mobile). For some reason that game was really addicting to me a few years back.

I think I spent around $250 (half in App Store gift cards) before I deleted it, because I was spending too much money. I think it was made by EA too.

Only real loot boxes I’d spend cash on was stubs for packs on the show. Bought a lot of micros though.

Have def spent probably $500 on gens for CoC over like a decade.

Bought prob $1k in subs for MLB the show from 16-19.

Have bought several shark cards from rockstar.

I've spent ~$1500 on several games.

GTA 5 Online
Knight Online
Crossout
ZMR (Zombies, Monsters, and Robots)

Probably a few more I can't think of currently.

Don't know if I've ever spent on loot boxes but I have no problem dropping some dollars for skins/armor in Warzone, Fortnite, and Halo

How so? Gaming has never been bigger since people are joining daily (no longer need a console or gaming PC to play) which allows for more niches to be viable.

Do Pokemon cards count

But between older fifa ultimate teams and h1z1 crates, it's a good bit

I spent several thousand dollars over time on Hearthstone.

When I stopped was when I decided to go back and figure out how much money I had spent. Never spent another dime after that.

I played with a guy on Modern Warfare who bought everything they put out in that game. He told me he had spent over $5,000 plus.

I basically said everything that entered my mind aside from calling him stupid.

Thats why it would be fricked.

An opinion I shared for a time.

Then Indie games became better, comparable in quality to the AAA games made by predatory big box companies looking to squeeze every last cent from the players. Even if they werent technically comparable. They certainly were more imaginative.

Thank god for indie games.

There’s really no appeal in that, so I’ve never bought any.

Not for loot boxes but sometimes it came with some. If I play a free game a while and like it and will continue playing it for a while. I will buy the ad remover and sometimes it comes with other free stuff. Even doing that I have probably only spent around $20
