Unlocked all the cheats for Goldeneye on the N64. It sure seemed like an accomplishment whenever I did it back in junior high.
Same here, finished the whole thing on all difficulties and unlocked all the cheats. I hated unlocking Invincibility on Facility. Not because it was a bitch (and it was), but because once I did everyone else I knew with the game started "Dude, do it for me now!"
I still think back to pulling a 900 (the special) on the first Tony Hawk over the bridge at Burnside. Not the entrance jump, but on the other side of that same ledge you jump over on the entrance. There's a kicker that throws you over, basically to flat land. It was a bitch to nail it just perfect so it lets me land it.

I can beat level 3 in Battletoads on a regular basis. Anyone who has played this game back in the day can surely recognize such a huge accomplishment

Damn I remember that part from when I was way younger. shite started coming so fast you were nearly forced to memorize the pattern to get through (which I had to do).

My friend and I did this. I don't remember exactly what it entailed. Something about chocobo racing and breeding chocobos I think. I think the Contra thing with beating it with 3 men is more impressive though. I think the chocobo is more time consuming than actually hard. Not saying it isn't an accomplishment, because it is. Contra is harder though.

i have a friend who was once #1 in the world in FIFA '06

I dont know I have some that could be considered impressive and others not so much but i consider most equal:
PS: Beating the original Spyro 100%
Gameboy: Collect all 151 Pokemon on Red, Collect all 251 on Silver. I was like 9 of 10 at the time but I imagine anyone that was in that age range for those games will remember how much time it took to get that
PS2: Beating a friend 214 to 0 on Madden 02 (5 min quarters)
Xbox: Beating Halo on Legendary without dying, achieving a legit 40 on Halo 2, Part of #1 gamebattles clan on Ghost Recon 2 for 4 years, 78 overall at one pt on Ghost Recon 2
360: #1 ranked circuit race on Need for Speed: Most Wanted; Owning best times on 8 circuit, 7 sprint, and 3 drift tracks on NFS:Carbon, winning 4 xbox live tournaments b/t NFS: MW, Carbon, and Pro Street(sitting on free xbox live for 4 years). 2.13 Kill/Death ratio on Call of Duty 4/also 181 kills/12 deaths in one HQ game on shipment. Reach a high of 98 overall warzone on Gears 1, 14 overall on NASCAR 09, Win 2 Forza 2 tournaments.
I think most would consider my 360 accomplishments the most note worthy, but Spyro was my first video game so that was is special. And I bet everyone remembers just how hard the original Halo was on Legendary

I got out of the never ending forest thing on Zelda once.

For me it was beating the first three donkey kongs on super nintendo without losing a life. And also beating resident evils one through four without dying. Online gaming killed me in re5 though.
