I would like to see them taken out or at least have a game mode where there is no snipers.

This new game could even have a mode all to itself. In this sniper only mode, it's the only way you get access to sniper rifles. Sniper rifles aren't allowed in the other modes.
We'll call this new mode From a Grand...named after the distances snipers like to play at.

I'd be ok with that.. Been playing Ghosts and there are only a couple maps I feel the sniper is ok to use..
