Like I said I am not digging through your history but I remember you saying some things way after the reveal still.
No matter how many times you repeat it, you're wrong.

Sony is about going to crush Microsoft this generation if they don't pull a rabbit out of their arse at E3
So, you believe that Sony won't be following suit?

I guess.

Frankly I think both consoles are doomed in a sense.

Sony may have something similar, but you better believe they are keeping their mouth shut about it if they can. Too much heat on Microsoft from it.

That would be bad if so. It's better to let that sort of news out early so people have time to get over it before purchasing time vs risking it leaking too late and losing sales.

I really wanted to like this machine, but Microsoft is making extremely difficult.

If you want to dish out blame, direct it towards EA, Activision, Ubisoft, etc.

EA doing away with online passes across both consoles leads me to believe they know something we don't about used games and the PS4.

I gotta say based upon the information provided so far I'm leaning PS4 for multi platform games. I'll get a Xbox One for the exclusives but I like Sony being first and foremost a gaming console and not a box trying to compete to be a box that wants to be connected to a cable box, the Internet, and my soul (thanks kinect/Obama). It seems my preference of consoles will switch this coming generation.

I like what I hear...and sharing with family will be the bomb so I'm not the only one forking out money on shite games to try.

You don't need bad arse Internet for an every 24 hr check in. Throw the damn thing on your wireless network and be done with it.

Eh this is so remarkably dumb. I realize we are a more connected society now with many more people having access to internet, but yet it's still a convenience in times when money is getting tighter.
When I was a kid single mom had a factory job and probably made 350-400 a week in Missouri. Let's say she was able to buy me one of these nice new consoles for christmas or a birthday (somehow). The additional charge of cable internet would have been out of the question though.
This has been several years, but I imagine quite a few people would still be in this type of situation.
It's just a complete joke and I hope Microsoft tanks for this decision.
