It is literally amazing and only keeps getting better. How many hours in have you logged? And in medium or hard? Eventually you really start seeing some fire emblem influence in the game too.
I’m at about 51 on hard. People are saying the time to complete for main story is like 90 hours and all things 120+. I Asaume those are based on medium mode though

I'm only at like 17 hours but I really did think about upping difficulty to hard. Then that kokacho whooped my arse but apparently recommended level for it is 33 and I was only level 19.
How does it scale going from medium to hard? Some fights are too automatic on medium.
I came to arky for the weekend but I'll definitely be playing as soon as I get another chance. Game is amazing I'm recommending it to my friends that don't really play rpgs

Biggest change on hard is enemies each get an extra turn per round.
Example: the boss at the end of the demo cathedral who raises zombies. On normal he has one move a round unless he hits a critical or something. On hard he has 2 turns a round and his zombies has 1. To win on hard you need to be very row aware, guard a lot more and know when to, make use of knights a lot more because the damage is higher. It is a much slower pace of play for the bigger fights because you have to play it way way more strategically because of that extra turn the enemy gets every round.
Also there’s jobs on medium that are much more viable for abuse like merchant than they are on hard.

Did more grinding in the desert. All party members are lvl 25. Each have a maxed arch and I’m collecting those 1000xp arch items. Also hit 1mil in money.

If you’re at level 25 you’re probably pretty close to a pretty big story moment that made me drop my jaw. Game is hella interesting

Meta score peaked up to 95. I think it has fell back down to 94 though. The sales goals atlus had laid out have been blown past by a rapid pace. It is a legit goty contender.
Claire Obscure Expedition 33 coming sometime next year is going to be another game that brings in a massive audience for a turn based game (I expect far more than this as it t has more wide appeal) that could go for goty.

Regarding Claire Obscure Expedition 33 theres some serious talent in the voice cast, Clive from ff16, shatterheart from baldurs gate 3, and Charlie cox from darecevil

I’m in the final month and I can’t wait to begin NG+ and platinum this. Simply fantastic.

Looks like you’re gonna beat me across the line..but only just. There’s some seriously rough and very challenging optional content late game; at least if you’re playing on hard idk how difficult they are for normal.

I'm playing on Normal right now but I'm going to switch to Hard on NG+.
I normally don't play games much during the week, instead playing mainly on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but this game has its hooks in me and has me playing for a few hours each day after work too. Easy GOTY for me.

My biggest tip for playing on hard, at least for a fresh run it’s not as bad probably on ng+, is put way more emphasis on anything they can debuff enemies hit rate and keep your agility high. The reason for this is because enemies get 2 turns on hard not 1 like on normal and in this press turn combat system if any enemy misses an attack (even an aoe attack just missing one party member) it will take 2 whole turn counters off their entire round.

Getting into the end game you have to begin doing that on normal as well. I ignored the debuffs, and knights proclamation, early on but some fights it's required. You get some great elemental skills in the elite archetypes that allow you to do damage and impose a debuff on the enemy as well. They are high MP but extremely helpful.

Someone needs to throw a party for whomever came up with both the info broker and battle retry mechanics. Those 2 quality of life features trivialize barely anything while ironing out what has always been the most annoying parts of persona and SMT and now I don’t need to use like 15 save slots for a single play through in case I randomly just happen to frick something up in a week or so. There’s definitely still things there worth save scumming for though, they just aren’t like game breaking critical if you don’t.

So I played last night and tonight and I think I’m about done with the demo. I do like it. I think I’m going to get it. Never played a persona or smt but always read about the high praise for the personas

It is an amazing game. I actually just finished it an hour of so ago and immediately jumped into ng+ with newly unlocked difficulty. It also has a very good story to follow with sharp criticism for things like religion (while also showing the good it can do, it more takes aim at an embodiment something like the catholic church,) politics, discrimination, and more but that would be spoilers. It isnt as long as I thought it would be. persona 5 royal is a 120 hour long game even for me when i know where to go so i expected this to come in around 100 hours and it was about 81. Not a bad thing just saying.

I'm at the 50 hour mark (although some idle time probably has that number a little inaccurate).
I really don't wanna finish yet but judging by my social bonds and personality ranks I am definitely on the back half of the game. Just got the lance.
I will definitely be doing a new game plus.

I’m just now digging into this game past the demo stuff. Main question I have is, I’m seeing stuff elsewhere online that the main quests can take you multiple days. I don’t recall that ever happening for me for the cathedral one and I messed around grinding for Mp a decent bit. Is that true for this game that it can take multiple days.
It’s my first time playing one of these types of jrpgs so I’m unfamiliar with what I should be doing with my time. Any recs?
ETA- I just unlocked teleportation in martira

Yeah that didn't happen for me. That's what the hollows for saving are for but I can't see it being an issue unless u run out of mana on higher difficulties
