What difficulty are you playing under?

In the redbone especially online, you'll see a lot of cover four and cover two. I like to do a cover two with a man CB then I put the DE in the flat that the CB playing man is in.

If suggest doing practice and moving the ball up to the 10 yard line. You'll get better eventually.

All-Pro, but it looks like it was an outlier. I'm currently losing to the Giants in the 4Q, and I've only sacked Manning once.

Yeah I was gonna guess it was an AI problem with them holding onto the ball too long.

6-0 in draft champions. All quits so far though my ranked opponents had the courtesy to play until the last minute before quitting. This game is awesome

They have a huge glitch on the game where you can see if your opponent is throwing or running the ball

Can you explain more? How does it tip off the play call?

Show your defense play art, if your opponent doesn't have there last names under the player it is a run.

If they do have their names under them it is a pass.

I hope this gets patched soon, but I will take full advantage while its still in effect

Wow. How could EA let something as dumb as this get through?

Now I see why I pass 80% of the time still can't get a run at all.

Is anyone going through a franchise using "Play the Moments"? Started a Saints franchise last night and played one full game. Thinking of doing it all PTM to hurry to the draft and free agency.

Do you only play DC or do you play normal H2H as well? How about offline franchise?

hey hey... I set aside the money to do stuff like this. I make sure I am responsible and take care of the needs with the family/house, etc. then I can have some fun.

I dabble in all online play. Offline game modes don't really interest me. I do the solo grind in MUT just because it's almost a necessity to get future players in some instances.

I finally got to play the game for a few hours last night. First impressions:

Passing is more difficult and running the ball is a lot easier compared to 16

You can't just sit back in a cover 3 and react to the ball. You must be multiple on defense to have success.

They have to fix the qb fumble issues. In 3 online matches there where about 5 of these were the qb was barely touched and the ball flew out like it was dipped in melted butter.

All in all it seems like a very balanced Madden

Does no one take a beating like a man anymore? I miss truly getting to beat somebody down. I won't even be an a-hole about it. Everytime I go up about 14 or so they quit

Fumbles are more common for every position from my experience. Definitely frustrating. I guess I have to learn how to protect the ball.

Isn't R1 (on PS4) the protect ball button? I'm trying to train myself to do that every time I see contact.

Sad but true. If you get up two possessions most people will quit online matches especially Draft Champions.

I'm probably in the minority but I like the fumbles. Especially when they hit a button as I sack them and the ball falls backwards. Love it!

I came back 3-14 in the championship DC game then my opponent quit after he didn't convert on a 4th down after I went up 17-14.

Some people don't know how to make a comeback. Rely on gimmicks to go up and if that doesn't work, quit the game.

As for fumbles, hold R1 if you're about to be tackled or especially on a kickoff and there's no holes, I'll hold r1 ten yards before i get hit. I really like how this game is so far. Hopefully they don't ruin it with patches.

I will start hold RB(xboxone) when im about to be sacked. I already do this subconsciously with running backs and kick returners but qbs have rarely been prone to fumbles except for very rare occasions(on madden).

I've been playing yearly since 2004
