I spent some good quality time with the game last night. I went 4-2 in ranked DC. One game I was up 7-0 and the guy was kicking a FG before the half but I blocked it and ran it back for a TD which was so insanely satisfying. I spent $40 on MUT and didn't get anything worthy of praise. A few decent 80+ golds, but no Elites. Then I bought the 500 point guaranteed elite player pack and got Earl Thomas and Malcolm Jenkins. I don't know if we were only supposed to get one, or if we got two but I was not complaining at all.

I can't get the running down but that might have something to do with using the Saints

Did a fantasy draft and made all my OL run blocking and drafted David Johnson and I run all over. He just fumbles twice a game.

As for all the whining and crying you are doing, good god man. Learn to adjust and quit saying this game isn't real football. This is as close to real as it gets. So you can't move your DE all the way to the other side of the line when you see a strong I formation that is an obvious sweep. You want to know why? Because you can audible to an all out blitz and stuff that retarded sweep just fine. Do you know what would happen if an NFL DE ran to the other side of the line pre-snap? The quarterback would take a shite in disbelief right there under center because you just gave up a free 5-6 yards.

Quit trying to bitch because you can't overload one side of the D line and force unrealistic gap pressure all for the sake of winning a videogame.

Thinking of doing a fantasy draft myself. Is it complicated and time consuming?

Edge rushers don't move around pre snap in real football? They never stand up and run to other side of the Dline based on a motion?

Dude, what fricking planet do you live on??

I've NEVER seen a DE motion across a formation following a tight end or a WR, etc

Just stop man

Didn't realize 7th ward already covered this

Man, maybe you should stop playing so much video game football and watch the real thing... And btw, I think I've figured out your dilemma

A defensive end that stands up and plays two yards off the ball is actually an outside linebacker... Maybe that's where you're getting lost.. If that don't help you, then I give up

I basically just draft my starters and let the computer draft the backups

Just wrapping up my first game with my Saints franchise. Two issues:

1) Play action pass did not work at all. No receiver icons, no scrambling ability, nothing. A quick google search showed other people had this same issue, too.

2) Sacks were ridiculous in my first game against the Raiders. I really hope this is an outlier. Derek Carr was sacked 17 times in this one game. It was to the point where I wasn't even holding the controller and he would just sit there and take the sack. In fact, he was sacked twice while I was typing this post.

Overall, not the best first time experience.

What's the trick to kicking and punting??

I Am pressing X when it gets to the top and then X again when it gets into the accuracy box. About half the time of kicks and punts it shows another X that pops up (either a little ways below my power X click, or right of my accuracy X click). When this happens it's a guaranteed 30 yard punt or misses FG. Idk why it's doing it.. I'm not pressing X more than twice.

Anyone else have this problem?

What difficulty and system? I've never had either of these things happen to me.

I love how he's throwing off on "Dave Aranda is gonna do it!"

Look, Aranda does some weird things with two or even zero down linemen, but none of those edge rushers will run across the formation presnap to overload a side. That's nothing close to real football.

If you do it by yourself then you'll knock it out in no time. We made the mistake of doing a fantasy draft for our connected franchise last year. We had 20+ user teams and it took like 5 hours

I had that happen once but it's been fine since

I haven't been sacked that much. I do get a lot of pressure though. How long are you holding the ball?

My first game, I lost 31-10 as the Dallas Cowboys vs the New York Giants.

I could move the ball but found it very hard to score in the red zone. Could not stop them on defense, but I had this problem in 16.

I miss NCAA 09, 10, and 14

A restart might've done the trick.

I meant, I'm the one doing all the sacking. My defense sacked the CPU 17 times.
