Swerving is the new thing right now and what's hilarious is you'll watch the "top" players in Madden completely abuse the game's exploits in front of the world and EA does nothing while their jack offs just sit there and applaud it. One thing that really helped me was this, completely forget blitzing the QB. 99% of the time, your opponent is running a money play and knows exactly where he's going with it before he even snaps it. It's all a guessing game and just cover up as much of the field as you can, almost no one runs the ball online.

If it's by a guessing game to you defensively, you should quit playing. I've won multiple leagues and PLUS Draft Champs games just playing user tendencies.

The trick is to giveth then taketh. Show some Cover 3 looks then disguise your cover 2 as cover 3, when they throw that juicy curl route, it's pick 6'd!

I have/had so much fun playing defense on this year's madden. BY FAR the best game for defense in the madden saga that I can remember.

ETA: I don't play anymore. Burned out. There's definitely some glitches and unlike past variations of madden, there's only a few money plays vs a plethora of them (M16 was TRASH). Playing against the Cowboys in Lobby ball is not fun against some cheese users.

EA does suck because they half arse franchise mode though. As much as I love them, they deserve to be shite on for what they call "franchise"

I stop the stretch pretty easily with 46 defense.

Acutally I don't...I was looking for someone to actually answer the question which he did and you failed to do which just like on the other boards I see you on, you bring nothing to the table, at least you are consistent...

I come in peace. With all due respect, so many gamers say this shite.. you've never seen a back and forth, scoreless game (not only talking soccer) end like you mentioned? Sorry to tell you man, you aren't supposed to win every game you play. Same thing with those who bitch about players dropping passes in video games and other shite like missing blocks and penalties... you don't think this stuff happens IRL?

Seems like everytime something happens to the gamers I know, they say the game glitches, or someone is 'cheesing', or they just flat out turn off the whole system... like I said before you can't win them all...

As far as the people who run the same shite over and over, and those who exploit glitches, I completely agree with you - they are the ones who take the fun out of it... same thing for the quickscopers on COD
