So, are we all pretending Tracy McGrady was a really good basketballer back in the day? Personally, he was overrated as hell.

i've followed him since high school.
it's been great following one player since his rookie year in the league, seeing him grow as a player, and now in the discussion as one of the GOAT's

dude, could straight get buckets. but was never a good teammate and therefore never once won a playoff series.
no way in hell he gets in the HOF.

This is what I don't get. Hell, for some reason Kevin Garnett's teammates like him. He's probably one of the biggest pricks the game has ever seen and he still gets a following in the locker room.

Last night was the first Hornets game I watched all year. I was all about it when they first moved here, but now I just don't care for the NBA or basketball in general.

Kevin Garnett is a player coach. he teaches them a ton i'm sure.
Ray Allen and Paul Pierce were horrible defenders before Garnett. But they became great team defense players.
He also goes to bat for his guys for everything.
He's a douche to other players, but i'm positive everyone of his teammates loves him.

same here, i haven't watched a game until the playoffs started. i didn't even watch last night. I watched part of the win on Sunday and part of the loss on Friday

Dude works just as hard if not harder then anyone in the leauge. Has accomplished more and is under way more pressure then anybody IMO.

Thats what I'm saying. If someone like KG can get his teammates to like him, McGrady not being able to just amazes me. Granted I only played high school football, but lockerroom dynamics really aren't that hard, people want to like you. Just don't be a fricking douche to everyone, ya know?
