I feel like it would have made more sense for The group to die at the hands of the empire. They serve no purpose moving forward. I guess EA wanted the possibility of a sequel if this goes well.
Also, isn’t it a little ridiculous how Vader has become god tier over the lifetime of this franchise? Go back and look at anything he did in the original trilogy. Now look at rogue one. Now look at this. They have retroactively turned his character into some godlike caricature of himself. I get it, we grew up with the character and have built up this reverence for him as a result but the inflation of his abilities is just a little absurd, lol.

I mean, at that point in time, he kind of was god like. Even in most of the books and stuff, during the time between 3 & 4 when he is hunting down the remaining Jedi, he is pretty much unstoppable.
I thought the ending's portrayal of Vader was pretty accurate. He didn't really do anything groundbreaking.

Remember all those generic Jedi who died during the Battle of Geonosis? Considering you are/were the apprentice of basically one of those Jedi, it's not hard to see Vader being so OP when you tell the story from their eyes.
Remember that the characters from the main films were all considered to be some of the most skilled Jedi of the order.

Absolutely. Compared to roughly 95% of the Jedi out there, Vader was an unstoppable monster. They would have stood absolutely no chance against him.
In between 3 & 4, Vader was also kind of a myth. I this game, the main character has no idea who he even is. That is one thing I thought the game did a really nice job of portraying they initial just sheer terror of who the frick is this guy.

I wish they could have gotten a better actor to portray Cal. This guy is just as annoying on here as he was on Gotham.

I have a feeling I’ll grab this game whenever it hits a flash sale.
But yeah picturing him as one of the kids from Shameless the whole time I play this would be interesting

On the second planet. About ready to bring the game back. One of the most irritating games I've played in a while.
Really clunky fighting. Really difficult. Difficult is fine but you cant learn to fight when you have to go through five minutes of respawn, running, and climbing to get back to where you were to fight again. Then the baddie hits you twice and you're dead. Then you're backed up 5 minutes again.

That’s just because of budget limitations. Though admittedly it’s mainly for fan service, but I like seeing it. I mean we only Vader in combat three times in the OT.

Vader was more more powerful in this game than we've ever seen him before. so epic
I told myself I wouldnt do it, but I went and rounded up all of the collectibles. One more skill point to get the platinum

I feel that I want to do the same. That pink poncho earned for killing that mini boss creature on Bogano was an insult though.

The difficulty hasn't bothered me too much. It's much easier than a Souls game.
The combat does have some "eurojank" to it which I think makes some of the difficulty feel cheap.

He wasn’t even fighting all out those three times. Two of them he was trying to recruit Luke and the last time he saw Kenobi was when he cut off his remaining limbs, so you can forgive him for being cautious.
As far as the game, best Star Wars game since KOTOR. Better level design and it would be a debate. Great story with connections to the comics and Clone Wars. When Vader grabbed BB-8 and the Order 66 sequence with the score from the ROTS was more emotionally impactful than anything in Ep 7 or 8.

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed the Order 66 score.
Say what you will about the prequels, they had amazing scores. Far superior to the Disney movies.
