The most recent version of COD (Call of Duty: Vanguard) that came out last November is based on WW2.

I'm enjoying the Sniper Elite series and it occurs during WW2.

You might like COD Vanguard, it’s the newest one. It’s not great though

I actually really enjoyed WW2 and was looking forward to Sledgehammer taking another crack at it. Vanguard not great is an understatement. Its imo the worst CoD campaign and I'm usually pretty forgiving of their usual faults (short length, crappy story, lack of innovation). Vanguard has all that and is glitchy, with brain dead AI. even the set piece battles are shite. It is a pretty game though.
I would recommend the OP avoid it.

Yeah that’s the only one I haven’t finished. I’ve played most of the other ww2 cods. Don’t plan on picking up vanguard.

I actually play a lot of Hearts of Iron 4. Ironically that’s what made me want a single player game cause I wanted a break from the grand strategy games and was looking for something more story based.

I’ve actually played the sniper elite games and idk it’s just not for me. They can be fun but I eventually get frustrated and bored.

I don't know if it's any good, but most CoD campaigns are pretty entertaining. I'm just going to guess that Vanguard's campaign was at least average.

Its fricking terrible and thats coming from someone that despite their general lack of innovation still enjoys the CoD campaigns. The enemy AI is broken and there are game breaking glitches that still havent been fixed. The set pieces suck, the story sucks...the only thing I will say positive is it uses the MW 2019 engine and it really shines in a few spots.

Hearts of Iron IV if you're a mega brain nerd.

Bought 3 for maybe $3 to check it out. Thought I could start it up and kind of figure it out as I go.

Nope.

Have 10 minutes total in that game.

Medal of Honor: Airborne

Gross. If you're gonna get a Medal of Honor game, gotta go with Allied Assault.
