All they have on the ps store is descriptions and screen shots I wonder if the deluxe edition is worth it with 72 hour prior acesss and some unique quest to preorder

How the hell can anyone know this without playing lol

I’m asking peoples opinions on if what I described in the OP will be worth it for preordering it since it’s risky. Presumably people here know more about it than me. No need to be an a-hole in every post on this board. We are chill on the MSB

it looks good. really good. but i would wait and see some streams of people playing first.

Yeah I mean I’m likely going to buy it. I just am mostly curious if their preorder enticements are worth preprdering a game in this day and age.

Def watch the streams, you will probably be able to tell right away if it's your kind of game or not.
I don't mind preordering, but sometimes i'll wait until the day or 2 before. I mean if it's my kind of game or something I know I'll enjoy, why the heck not get some bonuses out of it for something i'm going to play anyway?

It's on my Steam wishlist, and I'm going to be mildly surprised if I don't pay full price for that bitch.

Normally I wait until the reviews come in before I will preorder something, unless it's a Fromsoft game, which I know will be good.

Does anyone know if there are difficulty settings? That would be a huge thing for me. If there's only one difficulty I expect it will be painfully easy.
If you've ever played Bully it gives off that same vibe, just a much more elaborate version with obviously the Harry Potter setting.
I'm sure all the big elaborate missions and quests or whatever will be good. The question is whether or not they can make just wandering the school grounds in between missions fun.
Another factor will be how dynamic and alive the world feels. They need to make your actions and interactions meaningful and change the experience. They've said something about the good/bad routes being in the game so hopefully that's flushed out. A lot of games hype this sorta feature up and then don't do squat with it because it adds a lot of work (Cyberpunk 2077 for example)

In an era where games get discounted pretty frequently not far after release, I won't pre order games anymore.

After Cyperpunk 2077, who knows.... who knows..

Tbf Cyberpunk is pretty solid now.
Of course it took them 2yrs or so to get it on the right track

Haven’t touched it since December the year it came out.

You’re missing out. Not perfect by any means, but a very cool game at this point.

I thoroughly enjoyed it recently, but was way OP for the end game and I only did the main story and major side quests. Didn't do any of the filler content.
Well worth the playthrough, but pacing is still a minor issue.

It’s hard to pace an RPG without at least the possibility the player can become OP by then end. Hell, it’s a legitimate complaint against TW3. Did you pump up the difficulty?

Game looks like it’ll be fun. But I’d bet my last nickel it’s going to be buggy as hell at release and it’ll take a while to iron out the bugs. Not worth early access IMO.
