Is franchise mode still broken in Madden?

Was thinking it might be fun to rebuild the Saints, but didn't they ruin franchise mode? It's been years since I've bought a madden so i have no idea.

I have heard good things about this year’s Franchise Mode, but then again, don’t we always?

It’s literally the same thing every year
And by that, I’m not necessarily talking about the game, I’m talking about the online interaction amongst the gamers
Some people enjoy the changes that are made and appreciate the game
Some people don’t like the changes and think ‘ea sucks’ ‘this game is totally broken’
It’s the same thing from the online community year after year year after year
Honestly the only way to know for sure is to try it yourself or maybe watch some gameplay on YouTube

I’m a few games deep into one and it seems good to me. Some things can still be improved upon but good otherwise.

Only way to improve other areas of Madden is if fans stopped spending money on MUT

finished one year and one off season and consider it pretty pathetic. how hard could it be to have legit celebrations for winning the conference title and super bowl and not just the same ol cutscenes. the whole off season experience just seems like a chore instead of fun like way back in the day. the coach story line thing is alright but really meh to me personally. i dont know how they could make it better but personally to me its just as bland and lifeless as it possibly could be

well thats just my view on it...i could see someone else thinking its fantastic maybe my epectations are to high..dont not try it based off that. i just expect more out of madden at this point and ill never be satisifed

While it is lazy on ea’s part, I personally don’t care about that because I skip them anyways.

I hope they fixed the 4th TE.
Depth chart only allows for 3 TE to be set. You can have more TE on roster, but when one of the 3 get tired, a OL is subbed in.

What the frick formation are you running that you need a 4th te and who the frick keeps 4 TEs on Madden??

Not sure why 4 TE seems like foreign concept. Singleback - wing pair has 3 TE on the field.
If you have fatigue and injuries on, you need a 4th TE.
Hence my concern that they don’t easily substitute in a TE, but a OL.
Hoping this fixed in current version

That’s why you have a fullback? And even if you have fatigue on, I seriously doubt you are running enough plays with all 3 TEs that it becomes an issue. Beyond that, they have formation subs on the main menu for Franchise so you can make those adjustments yourself, they have them on the pause menu in game, on the formation screen in the play call screen and you can even make formation subs in the pre snap adjustments after you’ve called a play if you want to swap out a guy from one play to the next in the same formation.
