Is ESO worth playing?

It's on sale on Steam right and was thinking about trying it out. I have WoW but have been feeling kind of burned out on it.

I played it for about 2 months after buying it on release day. Maxed out level and then Veteran Ranks (when they existed)in that time. Then got bored because I don't want to just raid. Some people like me want challenges that can be soloed or done with small groups.
I let some months pass and logged back on and everything was different. Characters running around lvl 500-600+, new armors everywhere, and seemed very cliquey (North America server anyway). Was almost immediately inundated by guild invitations. I had joined a guild in my first stint, but left because they constantly wanted "dues" but were conveniently too busy to help when I needed something in return. So, yeah I didn't accept guilt invites as I was only checking in.
Talked to a couple guys on my friends list and they said it was all raid, raid, raid, PvP, PvP, PvP and more raids. No thanks. I had my fair share and got burnt out on raids back in my EQOA days. Was hoping to see some decent solo or small group content added to ESO in the time I was absent. No such luck. Maybe it's there now because they keep on expanding but I don't even have a desire to get back on and look for it.
If you like the Elder Scrolls series and like mega raids and PvP, you'll probably love it. If you're like me, you'd probably enjoy WoW updates and new content better.
That's just my .02. I'm no expert by any means because it got old really quickly to me.

Yes.
Great MMO
I played 2 chars to max level and an alt. huge world. Fun enough pvp. Engaging quests. Fun zones. Lots of points of interest

I played it for awhile, maxed out two toons, but I wasn’t crazy about the game like I have been with other games. I mostly played solo, lots of grinding for gear and other stuff, but yea, I think it is worth it.

I wasn't around for launch but played it for about a year after the revamp. From what I understand the revamp completely changed the game for the much better. I played it for about a year or so before getting tired of doing the same thing over and over (got up to level 500-something).
If you're wanting a different theme of MMO, check out the return of City of Heroes (I have a thread on it, prolly on 2nd page by now).

Yes, it's been revamped so that you can play how you like. If you don't like running trials/dungeons/group content, it's no prob, I rarely do as I'm mostly PVE unless I'm looking for specific gear.
It doesn't have to be a grind either if you know what you are doing. One Tamriel changed everything and new content is added quarterly.
I play on the EURO servers so I know nothing of clique's, just jump in a que for dungeons if you like and hope for a decent group.
I don't mess with guilds, I don't need them. I have 6 max level characters (810 has been the cap for a while) and am working on a 7th, the new necromancer character
If you like Elder Scrolls it should tie you over till 6 comes
My favorite zones:
Wrothgar-Orcs
Elsweyr- Dragons
Craglorn-quick level craziness
Vvardenfell-Morrowind remade
Clockwork City- steampunk fun
Summerset- elven lore
Then you've got a good bit of stuff in the Thieves guild and dark brotherhood that are completely solo driven, have their own regions but have quests everywhere

Imperial city is pretty fun too. Nice mix of pvp and pve

Oh definitely, I just haven't been there lately with all of the new content. Good call. The game is massive and is honestly best played with ESO Plus, which I've noticed has had several free use weeks throughout the year

is great game, even though there are many races and classes you can make many types of different build for your character. Really fun to do to see what you can come out with. Not forget to mention the housing system in the game as well. Ive seen so many creative homes in there.

You started an account to bump months old threads about eso?
Posted on 8/20/19 at 9:23 pm to beerJeep
Yea, i only play eso. When i saw posts about it i jumped on board... No time to play anything else. Took hell of my time to play this game. Sometimes is hard to find people to do some endgame content. Especially not coming from the same time zone.

Ive been debating getting into it myself but it looks kinda shallow
But its free on game pass so why not

agree, and i have a lot of hours on both eu and na servers.
I want to play alone, and be able to get shite done.
And i have zero interest in PVP. I tried to play it again and again and was bored quickly.
