will too, I haven't seen anything listed to how long the gameplay for the story is though. I saw a little glimpse of the world map but it was hard to determine relative size from that orif parts of the map were to on screen

Anyone else start playing today? I'm about an hour in, and it's just... annoying. The constant narration gets on my nerves. The graphics are meh. For some reason they made the main character sticks out against the landscape like a sore thumb. The HUD looks terrible. Climbing certain objects... you just get stuck sometimes for no discernable reason.
I've got to believe it gets better, but so far I'm not impressed.

Yeah, playing Ni No Kuni if I judged it from the beginning (because of story play) I wouldn't have liked it. Playing on, it is a great game.

I hear ya. I placed my order months ago when it was still called Gods and Monsters (and it was already discounted $10 on Amazon for some reason). I've had really good luck with Amazon, usually getting the physical games the day of or before the release date. I haven't had a game delivered late before, but I know I've seen some people complain about not getting their games delivered on the release date.

So far it is amazing. The beginning is storied but I hit plus sign and X to skip. I didn't know you could change her eye color. Yes I picked the chick.
