In terms of comfort over quality, mic over sound or vice versa, yeah.

TB's blow. Astro, Siberia, and Steel Series are way better. TB's are the worst mic's I've had.
Yup.

my biggest gripe about X12's and just about all headsets under $200 is that the earpieces are too small. I have big ears and I find if I wear my x12's for more than a few hours the cartilage in the top of my ears starts to hurt from being pushed on
It's a nonissue with higher quality headsets. but you're right in that the X12's are unmatched in their price range, sound quality is great

Compared to other headsets, the x12's put a lot of pressure on the top of your head as well. I get headaches if I wear them for 2-3 hours. That's the only reason I even started looking for a new headset. Everything else about them is fantastic.

The Razer Kraken Pro was like wearing a cloud. But the sound was shite.

That's the dumbest statement you could make. Sound quality is subjective to personal preference.

for them? yes.

I love muffled music, and if your sound card and headphones aren't muffling music, the hardware is poor quality. The muffle levels are measured as mLev units, which correlate directly with the on-die MFL stream FPUs. Their outputs/s determine the rate at which muffle compression is rendered and whether it can be rendered in real-time, or if your headphones will be the bottleneck. The whole cable needs to be gold plated. I guess you aren't all that knowledgeable about audio.

I have triton ax720s I bought a few years back, They sound amazing. Icant compare them to any because they are the only ones ive tried but I am very satisfied I bought them. They have a amp to control voice and game volume seperately which is cool. I dont believe they have true surround sound but you can sound whore with them and tell which direction enemies are coming from.

I was in the market because long periods of wearing the X12's can cause some discomfort, but after seeing what else is available from 50-160 dollars, the X12's pricetag ($60) and the quality it gives over its competition
You obviously have no idea what you are talking about

I prefer the comfort of my Astros and they can be charged on the fly with the extended cable ($5) extra I believe.
but of course the quality on the Turtle Beaches is amazing! I just find they have a pinching grip and you know they are there.. where with my Astros.. I don't even notice them.
