I think this game is harder than the original Retro Bowl. Managing GPA’s makes it more difficult. Also seems more difficult to earn coaching credits.

Been playing it for almost a week now and holy shite, if you can, get the 0.99 upgrade.
I've been grinding with Auburn (No surprises there) so I'm doing fine on my part.
The thing that gets me ticked off the most about this game is the GPA limit. It's as if my 5-star WR and 4 and a half-star QB purposely have a 1.3 by the end of the season

I don’t love how GPA works and I also don’t love how slowly the XP improvements increase. My freshmen star QB should upgrade more than 1 time in a 14 game season.

I spend most of my coaching credits boosting GPA’s. It’s difficult to keep them all up if you have a 12 player team.

Bye weeks is what I’ve been using to keep them boosted but it gives up an opportunity to gain XP.
And the coaching credits seem to be too difficult to come by when you have to spend them on facilities and OC/DC contracts

I was killing it and it took 6 seasons to get offers. But there were plenty when they started popping up
