I'd buy Ubisoft and move all of its PC game sales through Steam and get rid of the UPlay platform completely. I would micromanage the Assassin's Creed series and put it on a 3 or 4 year development rotation. Put more studios on smaller standalone games like Child of Light for more frequent releases.

I would buy Take Two Interactive and put my self in charge of 2K. I would spear head the college basketball and college football projects. I would leave everything else alone and encourage creativity in all other areas, but cbb and cfb are my babies
They are frustrating.
I'd like to hear that they are making aggressive efforts to venture back out into college b-ball and CFB but they seem content to rest on the laurels of NBA 2k.
I know they're making a pile of money with NBA 2k so maybe they're averse to sinking money in projects that aren't as mainstream as the NBA. College Hoops was not a cash cow and they haven't tried to make a CFB game in over 10 years.

EA, in a heartbeat. So many good games to make better with my awesome ideas.

He just wants to make another battlefield

I want to create another shooter franchise for EA set in World War II.
I want to consult on Battlefield.
I want to create a baseball game to rival The Show.
I want to retool Madden using a lot of the mechanisms that made ESPN NFL 2K5 so amazing.
I know EA has more games than sports and shooters, but that's where my interests lie. I can go into more detail, but I feel like it would take an entire weekend to think through all the changes I'd like to see.

You should make a futuristic baseball game with robots and bio suits that make you jump real high.

I would buy Nintendo. Then I would use Nintendo's cash to buy Capcom and SEGA making all their IPs Nintendo system exclusives.
After that I move to making a console/handheld combo that takes both physical media and has an online store similar to Steam. Also, pair up with a TV company to somehow use the 3DS tech to created 3D TVs that dont use glasses.
Oh, and I say frick you to all investors and stop the micro transaction virus infecting the gaming industry.

So you want to lose a bunch of money in an industry that already failed

People don't want to buy a 3D TV when you have to buy glasses to go with it.
Once 3D tech works on a normal TV sans glasses and is cheaper to make it will begin take off.

people dont want to spend a frick ton on a 3D TV that you also have to buy extra shite for just so everyone in the house can use it.
again, once the tech doesnt require glasses (and that will be happening) along with the $$$ coming down it will become widespread.

Completely disagree. Most people turn the 3d off their 3ds too. 3D was a gimmick that didn't last. The glasses never bothered me, the 3d did.

thats for two basic reasons.
the battery life is not as good when you have the 3D on and more importantly you have to hold it in a certain way w/o any angling or it blurs making it a pain to play for long periods of time.
the new 3DS basically eliminates the blurring issue and is a much better 3D experience. You dont have to look at it dead on like the regular 3DS and eventually that tech will be good enough that it can be translated to a large TV.

I can't be alone in this, but my problem with 3D is that it makes me motion sick.

I'd buy Wizards of the Coast and give an exclusive development license to Obsidian.
Posted on 7/24/15 at 5:24 pm to MontyFranklyn
I'd buy Naughty Dog and make sure nobody changes a damn thing.
