If anyone needs to renew their GamePass, here's how I got 3 more years for $76.74.

I did the $1 Gamepass Unlimited conversion 3 years ago when everyone was doing it, so I’m sure a lot of you are coming up on renewal time as well. Conversion method still works
1.) Make sure your GP and XBL Gold are expired and recurring billing is OFF.
2.) Go to LINK
3.) Buy 9 of those 3mo keys. My grand total was $60.16
4.) Redeem one of the 3mo keys, and make sure the slider that says "Turn on recurring payments and get 1 month free" is set to ON.
5.) Go to Settings -> Account -> Subscriptions -> Xbox Live Gold -> Turn Off Recurring Billing
6.) Repeat Steps 4 & 5 for your other eight 3mo codes. You should have 3 years of Xbox Live Gold banked after this.
7.) Navigate to GamePass tab, join for $14.99 ($16.58 after tax for me). If you haven’t done the $1 deal, it will be $1 + tax. You will get a message saying that your existing subscription will be upgraded. Confirm everything.
8.) Enjoy your 3 additional years of cheap GamePass.
The process is a little tedious, but well worth it for the savings. Cheers.

My gamepass expires in Dec 2023, would this deal still work for me?

Yes, assuming you can still buy the cheap codes by then and assuming they don’t turn off the conversion shite by then

Good gosh, where was this back in March
I renewed for 3 more years @ $180. I thought that was a great deal at the time
I do not know when they are going to kill off the conversion, but I have used it twice now and will have 6 years of game pass when done for the cost of just Xbox Live.

I'd imagine that a few years down the road they're just going to kill XBL and integrate everything into a Gamepass tier system

Do you have to do this all from your xbox?

No. I entered the codes on the web version so I just copied and pasted them in but I did change the auto renewal on the actual xbox each time after entering codes. I did 3 years worth of codes in about 10 minutes total.

I did it on the web. Was easy, just takes a bit of time. Works great.

Do you have to wait till it is expired or can you just cancel the subscriptions and do it? Mine ends mid July but wanted to just knock it out now.

Man i havent played Xbox for a couple years. But starting to play a little with my almost 7 year old. I almost started paying the normal monthly price for Ultimate game pass.
This was perfect timing. Worked like charm. Have ultimate game pass for $75 total until 6/9/25.
Thank you sir.

nope, the $15/mo covers you for everything. still a rip off tho since there are barely any good games.
$25 a year sounds way better for me until MS's new acquisitions start bearing fruit

Ugh. Place rejected my phone number for some reason. Just tried to do it again and they are sold out. Dammit.
ETA: Nevermind they added a new one and got it to work. The total ended up being $2 more so no biggie!
