the only reason i do not create more skyrim guys, is because i hate the dwemer ruins.

the same thing, over and over. blackreach is cool, but to get there, it's the same thing, go left, go right, kill dwemer spiders, kill falmer, go left.

If anyone wants to amp up the experience, try oblivion with oscuro's oblivion overhaul mod.

It gets rid of most of the monster scaling in the game so you won't be fighting level 30 bandits with daedric and it rebalances all the dungeons and areas in the game.

Yeah, that's why periodically I'll just save at a random point.

fricking this.

playing on the ps3 had a high level khajiit sneak assassin. was 3/4 of the way done with the thieves guild quests. got to messing around in the thieves guild. ate a poisoned apple. walked through a door where it auto saved. found out the auto save was my only saved game. fml

tried everything to heal myself. nothing worked. health continually went down to where i would die. nothing i could do.

dropped the game. didn't play for a long time. finally picked it up again to play. made sure i had multiple saves from then on. never finished the game though. got too side tracked with side missions.

I gave up on Oblivion because I was using mods when OOO was in its infancy and pretty much every mod caused some issue with texture replacement/glitches. None of the armory mods worked together with the enemy additions it was such a pain.

I definitely enjoyed Oblivion more than Skyrim.

The portals got a little repetitive after a while, but the guilds were much better and I enjoyed the cities a little more.

The story seemed better as well. Skyrim was a technically superior game, but I definitely had more fun with Oblivion

I learned my lesson when I decided the quest to remove vampirism was too much bullshite and went back to an earlier save............probably lost 15 hours of gameplay when I did that.

so, when i defeat dagon, thats the main quest, completed? if so, wow, how short.

i like the game, interaction is much better, even though the graphics on people are not good.

but the scenery is great, even without the high end graphics.

also, i ended up whipping people with a simple sword, no extra damage, just a sword i took from a dremora. might have to up the skill of game to hard. had it on mid level.

wish it had a tutorial for creating potions n the stuff. they made it much easier on skyrim.

oblivion was my first elder scrolls game. I remember picking it up and literally just going into peoples houses and stealing their shite for the first few hours.

I was enthralled, it felt like a medieval GTA.
