I’m on my 2nd BOtW play right now and cannot put it down. I guess I’m in the minority in that I like the degrading weapons system even more this time around. Most seem to hate it. There are so many weapons lying around that it really is a non factor and requires a bit of strategy on how to handle it

I just went balls out with the Master Sword until it needed to "heal." It made keeping up with other stuff less of a hassle.

Ive been watching YouTube videos on BOTW secrets that I had no idea existed. It's making me want to go back and play through again.
The biggest complaint I have about the game is it rains too often. It takes away from the beautiful landscape sometimes.

I've mentioned it in other threads, but BOTW was my first ever Zelda game. I had no clue what the master sword was, so I think I ended up getting it really late in my first playthrough. the second time around, I tried to up my hearts as much as possible to get the master sword as early as possible exactly because of what you just said.
has anyone tried the sword trials in the DLC? shite is impossible

agreed. the rain is an irritant, especially when you want to climb. and stripping down naked when it's lightning is too much of a hassle, so I just warp to another area and do something else when it starts up.

I'm on HZD and Witcher 3.
Both great games. But I got sick of hunting fatty meat in HZD. I need a break from it. So I started Witcher 3.

LOL...
funny way for me to say going into the menu and unequipping all metal weapons/shields/bows and removing all metallic armor. If you have the rubber suit or the lightning helmet, then you don't have to do that stuff (I think) but early on in the game, if it starts lightning, I think you avoid getting struck by stripping down to Link's underwear

yeah, I got naked and went under a rock cliff if I could; especially on that far away island that has the huge giant boss. It rained constantly heaving bombs off the cliff at him.

which 3D game is most like Zelda? Gods & Monsters was due out Feb 25 and it was delayed. I played Oceanhorn (a zelda link knock off) but Oceanhorn2 is only out for Apple arcade

I was so pissed when I got the lightening rod and lost it. I hope BOTW2 doesn't do this. Also utilize all weapons in many dungeons/shrines like i think it was Twilight Princess tried to do.
