Scrap.

It.

You WILL find better before you reach that level.

Legendary guns that were sweet I wanted to keep to use later were more burdensome and it was depressing.

They added a vendor to sell them I believe. If not, I’m 99% sure you can put them in your camp vending machine to sell. If not, frick it. Drop that shiiiiit.

The energy cores took up a lot of weight as well. I spent more time trying to figure out how to make my weight situation work than I did playing the game

Like I said. Scrap it alllllllll. Don’t keep any ammo for weapons you aren’t gonna use. You’ll never need more than 3-4 cores for power armor. Chunk the ones with the lowest life.

quote:

I’m used to putting stuff in my stash and not having to worry about a 300 lb limit.

Yeahhhh. That ain’t this game

Also, don’t keep loose power armor pieces. Put them on a frame. They take a frickkkk ton of weight.

I love 76. stash management is much better these days than before.

overall just explore dont worry about quests. try to do lots of events and workshops are good for leveling.

The death penalty in this game is really really dumb. It discourages exploration.

What do you mean by death penalty?

If you're talking about losing caps when you die in survival mode, yeah that kinda sucks but I don't really mind consequences.

For me, the harder the game, the more fun it is...even if I occasionally turn a game off in anger.

I believe you loose resources. You don't loose everything. My character is not naked, and I still have weapons, but it seems like I loose what I've found out in the world unless I run back to my corpse.

How’s the hardcore mode? I heard you don’t have to start a new character to play on those servers so that kinda turned me off

you need a camp and a stash. judt move it around as needed when you explore. survival is meant to be hardcore and feel difficult. adventure is more forgiving

It's pretty awesome because it feels like actual survival.

When you're in a random building and you hear footsteps that are clearly another players, you know shite's about to go down

Sometimes you come to agreements with other players that you mean no harm.

Yeah. I just feel like it’s bullshite someone can bring their OP toon from the standard mode over and wreck shop. Should have to start a new character to play hardcore. That’s the only thing stopping me.

I could be wrong, but as far as I know, it seems like it's still an even playing field even if someone is a way higher level.

I've both killed and been killed by someone 100 levels higher than me as a level 58 and the damage output seems equal.

I gotta ask.

What's the point of leveling up?

Is there a point?

I actually like what they did with 76 in regards to leveling up.

Your Special stats get capped at some point, so any leveling up gives you a new perk card. You can choose to swap a special point to another instead of the perk card for every new level.

You can change your play style at any point. So if I'm leaving my camp and want to use heavy weapons, I just swap my heavy weapons cards in.

I started a melee guy for the mode and nuclear winter. it's a bitch starting over but lots of fun now thst I'm not an apocalypse bringing god who just one shots everything with bloodied rifles and criticals.
