I've gotten to the point where I have to go to Meridian but I've just been walking around exploring shite. This game is awesome. Only issues I have is when the camera flips around from side to side and I can't do anything to center it, another thing is that I've already fallen into a few glitches in some of the ancient ruins where I was unable to get out. Other than that, I've had a great time so far.

That is where I am. I ran to the top of that snow mountain and it brought me to a death loading screen. Guess I was not supposed to go there.

Most games are not native, but a few are. Most games are like between 4k and 1080.

I'm also playing on Very Hard difficulty. It's a bitch at times, but it really makes you use everything in your arsenal and the combat mechanics to the full extent. Also, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it reduces your harvesting speed. Some may find it to be a chore, but I love gathering resources and making sure I'm prepared for any future encounters. It reminds me of playing the Witcher 3 on Death March. Have to read the bestiary to find weaknesses, craft oils, be patient in battles, use everything in your arsenal, etc.

I turned off the bread crumb waypoint system and I love it. Part of the fun with these games, like Skyrim, is figuring out how to get there. Think you're almost there and come up on a steep cliff side that you can't climb.........figure it out. Adds to the exploring aspect of the game IMO.

Doesn't the PS4 just upscale to 4K?

No.

And HDR is more important than resolution.

Ya they do. I just tried taking on a Thunderjaw thinking I had the combat down.

He proceeded to rekt my shite with no lube.

Just got past the proving part. Was going to get a switch but I can't put this game down yet.

I got a switch and messed around with Zelda for a bit. It seems fantastic and I like the Switch even though it's a bit bare bones at this point, but I'm beating this game. Thoroughly enjoying it. I'll have to go back and forth a bit.

This is shaping up to be an insane year for games. This, Zelda, Mass Effect, Persona 5 all in a couple months. And that's leaving out stuff like Nioh and Nier, which I'm just not going to get to. Just no time.

Luckily it's not football season, so sports-wise I've just got college basketball, NBA playoffs, and some weekend mornings soccer.

There is nothing better than killing a Ravager with his own weapon. It's HZD's version of teabagging

Make sure you're loaded up on medicine and health potions, bitches can two or one shot up close easily. Make sure you spam the shite out of the roll button.
